Joann studied in France and received her diploma in Printing and Drawing at The Ecole des Beaux-Arts. Afterwards, she moved back to South Korea to continue her study in art. She received  her Bachelor's and Master's in Fine Arts at Ewha Women University. Joann started teaching in 1997. When she is not teaching, she likes to spend time with her dog Chewy and travel. 

Gina went to Ewha Woman's University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts & Master's in Fashion Design. After completing her education, she worked as a fashion designer. In 2006, Gina started teaching at Joann Art Studio. When she is not teaching, she portrait drawings and paintings as a commission artist. When she is not making art magic, Gina likes to bake and cook.
